Beast of Reincarnation is an action RPG developed by Game Freak — their first major title outside the Pokémon series. Set in Japan in the year 4026, you play as Emma, a young woman born corrupted by the Blight whose hair has transformed into vine-like plants she can wield as weapons and use to traverse the world. Her companion is Koo, a blighted dog. Combat blends real-time katana action with turn-based command input for Koo’s abilities — pausing time to issue orders mid-fight.
